For the past 25 years, Perkins Pacific has remanufactured engines under its NorthTrends brand and now Perkins Pacific is pleased to add Detroit Diesel 3/4 block engines to its line of remanufactured diesel engines.

The two-cycle engine manufactured by Detroit Diesel is one of the most highly produced engines in the market.
With over 3 million operating in the field today, there is such a high demand for this engine in markets ranging
from ag, marine, forestry, oil/gas, and mining to name a few.

NorthTrends remanufactured Detroit Diesel block are a cost-effective solution to extend the service life of
equipment. All remanufactured Detroit Diesel blocks are expertly tore down and remanufactured including:

• Major castings are magnafluxed and qualified for reuse
• Exhaust, intake seats and guides are installed to maintain proper geometry
• Cylinder head is re-torqued (if required) and valves readjusted
• Blocks receive updated flange liners when needed
• Dynamometer test report provided recording H.P. and engine operation
• All engines are painted, skidded and made ready for shipment or installation
